Where Is Oaxaca?

Oaxaca is a UNESCO World Heritage city of 255,000 people and is considered one of the world’s top travel destinations for its rich pre-Colombian history, Spanish Colonial architecture, incredible food, and diverse heritage of arts and crafts.

At an altitude of approximately 5,200 feet (1,585 meters), the city’s climate is cooler than lowland areas at the same latitude with warm days and cool nights.
